🔧 **Job Title:** Multi-Trade Service Technician

**Employment Type:** Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call
**Reports To:** Field Services Manager
**Position Summary:**
Gi-Techs is looking for skilled, motivated, and reliable **Multi-Trade Service Technicians** to join our growing team. In this role, you'll perform a wide variety of residential and commercial repair services—including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance—across our service areas. You’ll be the face of Gi-Techs in the field, bringing professionalism, precision, and problem-solving to every job.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Complete assigned service calls involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general home/business repairs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during inspections and scheduled appointments
- Conduct basic safety and functionality checks on key systems (water, power, HVAC, etc.)
- Communicate with dispatch and management to report job status and updates
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean and functional condition
- Use mobile apps to complete service reports, photo documentation, and customer notes
- Deliver outstanding customer service while on-site and build trust with clients
- Uphold company standards and safety practices at all times
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in at least two of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, or general home repair
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer interaction skills
- Familiarity with digital tools (mobile scheduling apps, service reports, etc.)
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Trade school certification or formal technical training
- Military or veteran background strongly preferred
- Experience with smart home tech, EV chargers, or solar is a plus
- EPA 608 Certification or equivalent (optional but valuable)

Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of hands-on experience in at least two of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, or general home repair
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to work independently in the field and manage service calls professionally
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
Basic understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow OSHA standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Trade school certification or technical training in any core service area
Military or veteran background strongly encouraged
Familiarity with EV charger systems, smart home tech, or solar (a plus)
EPA 608 certification (for HVAC work – optional but valuable)
Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
